From Mrs. and Mr. Paulo Amaral, Portugal

When we contacted you for the first time, we were looking forward to a long-held dream: to have a second child. Nine months later, you gave us a wonderful gift, so precious and sweet! Bernardo, born in Delhi on May 3rd, is healthy and beautiful boy, growing well every day.

We deeply thank Mother’s Lap IVF team; you have done an amazing job. We’d like to particularly thank Dr. Shobha Gupta and Dr. Kuldeep Raj for their medical expertise. These were members of the team whom we saw on a daily basis and whom we became particularly close to during our stay in India.

Besides the medical miracle, your support during the past 9 months was very much-appreciated. So, we’d also like to thank all the other people (nurses and support staff) who all played such an important part in Bernardo’s beginning!

The attention given to us, regarding timely answers, the methodology (the fact you use more than one surrogate increases chances of pregnancy) and the cost was reasonable. We always felt more than just a “client”, the treatment was always very professional and sensitive, making us feel comfortable, understood and supported. We would be happy to make reference to your services to other couples in similar situation.

We also want to express our thanks and appreciation for the wonderful treatment and care you all showed to us following Bernardo’s birth. You demonstrated your total commitment

The reason being, she had spent hours sitting on her haunches and worked around, while wearing skinny jeans. The woman, whose calves had ballooned, developed what is known as the Compartment Syndrome — “a painful and potentially life-threatening serious condition caused by bleeding or swelling within an enclosed bundle of muscles — in this case, the calves”, said the report. The jeans had to be cut and the woman was put on intravenous drip and was able to walk, unaided, only after four days.

There are various risks associated with wearing too-tight trousers or skinny jeans. It could seriously damage your health. It can cut off circulation and cause nerve damage, swelling of the ankles and feet and fertility problems
