PCOS, also referred to as polycystic ovarian syndrome, is a disorder that impairs your metabolism and results in hormone imbalances. According to an AIIMS study, 20.25% of Indian women who are between the ages of 15 and 44 and who are of reproductive age have PCOS. In addition, it might cause difficulties getting pregnant and increase the risk of developing major secondary health issues like diabetes, depression, cardiovascular disease, and endometrial cancer.  Male hormones are produced in greater quantities by women with PCOS. Their inability to conceive and their irregular menstrual cycles are both results of the hormonal imbalance.
