The Crucial Role of Early Diagnosis in Infertility and Treatment Options
Infertility can be a challenging journey, filled with
uncertainty and emotional stress. Early diagnosis and prompt intervention are
vital for improving the chances of successful conception. Dr. Shobha Gupta, a leading IVF specialist, emphasizes the significance of addressing infertility
concerns as soon as possible. This proactive approach can make a substantial
difference in the effectiveness of treatment.
Why Early Diagnosis Matters?
Infertility can stem from various causes, including hormonal imbalances, structural issues, or lifestyle factors. Early diagnosis allows for a comprehensive assessment of both partners, pinpointing the root causes of infertility. The sooner these issues are identified, the more time there is to explore and implement effective treatments. Delayed diagnosis may lead to the progression of underlying conditions, reducing the likelihood of successful fertility treatments.
Exploring Treatment Options
Once diagnosed, several treatment options are available, ranging from lifestyle changes to advanced assisted reproductive technologies. For many couples, In Vitro Fertilization (IVF) is a viable and highly effective solution. IVF involves the fertilization of an egg outside the body, followed by the implantation of the embryo into the uterus. This technique has helped countless couples achieve their dream of parenthood.

Know some important facts about surrogacy and its legalities
The practice of surrogacy is still surrounded by stigma and disinformation, and one of the primary reasons of this is the long-standing absence of legislative frameworks. In literal terms surrogacy means a formal legal agreement whereby a woman becomes pregnant and gives birth for another couple's kid with the goal of giving the child to them after birth and renouncing all parental rights.
Is
surrogacy legal in India?
Yes and no both. The legal
landscape around surrogacy in India has been complicated and dynamic, with
numerous legislative amendments intended to regulate the practice. Significant
progress was made in January 2022 with the passing of the Surrogacy
(Regulation) Bill, 2019.
India made a significant move in 2015 when it outlawed commercial surrogacy for foreigners. This action was motivated by concerns about the commercialization of the surrogacy procedure and the possible exploitation of surrogates.

Planning pregnancy in mid or late 30’s: Know some lifestyle changes
We are all aware that a woman's fertility can decrease as she gets older. Women are born with a fixed number of eggs, and as they get older, both the quantity and quality of these eggs decrease. That shouldn't concern you, though, as the majority of women can conceive naturally and give birth to a perfectly healthy child at 35 years old.
According to a study done in UK, women between the ages of 35 and 39 had a 29% chance of becoming pregnant on their day of greatest fertility. However, if their partner was five years older, their chances decreased to 15%.
However, it's important to keep in mind that while fertility problems are typically thought of as a female health concern, male variables like low sperm count and mobility can also have an impact on a couple's ability to conceive.
The average man carries about half as much sperm now as he did forty years ago, and most sperm does not naturally penetrate very far into the female reproductive system. In the absence of any physiologicalproblems, lifestyle choices could also be important. These could includedrinking too much alcohol or struggling with weight issues.
Today in this blog let’s discuss below mentioned advices for boosting fertility, which includes when to have sex and how much junk food to consume.

Not Ovulating? Now is the time to seek help
About half of women with infertility have what are known as ovulatory disorders. Often physicians and healthcare literature will say that these disorders are easy to treat. The better thing to say is that there are treatments that are very effective in treating ovulatory disorders.
Pinpointing a couple’s obstacles to conceiving and
designing treatment plans that are tailored to each patient are the keys to
that success.
Let's know first that What are ovulatory disorders?
For women who are not ovulating regularly, the cause is usually that the ovary is not receiving the appropriately timed signals to mature and release an egg. The pituitary gland, at the base of the brain, produces the hormones that control the ovaries – FSH (follicle stimulating hormone) and LH (luteinizing hormone). If ovulation is not occurring in a regular, timed fashion, it is likely that the ovaries and the pituitary are not communicating appropriately.
Ovulatory disorders broadly break down into two groups:
anovulation – where no ovulation at all occurs; and oligo-ovulation – where
ovulation occurs infrequently or irregularly.
Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS) is the most
common cause of anovulation and oligo-ovulation. PCOS can prevent women from ovulating,
but can also cause a number of additional symptoms such as small cysts in the
ovaries, obesity, and unwanted facial hair.
Any woman with an ovulatory disorder, regardless of the type, should seek

How early can you take a pregnancy test?
Getting pregnant is a beautiful feeling which only a woman can understand. Sometimes it seems like trying to get pregnant is all about waiting. Waiting to get the positive news is like you’re waiting on the edge of your seats for the results. Most women trying to conceive, whether it be naturally or with the aid of fertility treatment, have taken a pregnancy test at some point. Regardless of the method, be it a home pregnancy test through pregnancy kit or through a blood test at the fertility center, almost every woman is on pins and needles while waiting to learn when they’re are going to be a mother.
In the fertility world, the time between a pregnancy attempt and a pregnancy test is commonly called the ‘two week wait’. Why so long before testing? The reason women should not take home pregnancy test until two weeks after possible conception is because several days are required for a fertilized egg to implant in the uterus and start emitting enough hormones to be detected by a pregnancy test.
